My name is Alireza Iravani, and I’m a photographer and visual artist with nearly two decades of experience in the creative industry. Over the past 10 years, I’ve been dedicated to professional photography, focusing primarily on portraiture. I’m self-taught, and my approach to photography is grounded in observation, intuition, and hands-on experimentation.

Portrait photography is not just my specialty—it’s my way of exploring emotion, identity, and presence. From well-known musicians and public figures to everyday individuals, I strive to capture something honest and lasting in every face I photograph. My goal is always to create images that don’t just sit in a photo album, but resonate, provoke, and endure.

Beyond portraiture, my work spans concert, fashion, industrial, and editorial photography, with projects across Iran, Turkey, UAE, and Europe. I’ve photographed live performances for legendary Iranian artists like Ebrahim Hamedi (EBI), Dariush, and Homayoun Shajarian, and I’ve contributed to book covers, hotel branding, music festivals, product launches, and more.

My background in graphic design—combined with years of experience as an art director—has deeply shaped my visual language. I’m passionate about integrating photography with technology, storytelling, and other disciplines, whether through design, exhibitions, or cross-media experiments.

My book, Wonderful Feeling, explores how emotion can be evoked through photography. My work has been awarded and exhibited both in Iran and internationally, including solo shows and recognition at major photo festivals.

Currently, I continue to work across borders, exploring new ways to merge creative fields—and always returning to the power of the human portrait.
